I. Digital Technology (GPS, GIS)

Our large scale farm will be based on digital agriculture technology (GPS, GIS), which will be integrated into all farming procedures, through satellite positioning system and electronic communication. The combination of GPS (Global Positioning System) and GIS (Geographic Information System) makes an implementation and development of precision agriculture possible.

GPS-based applications will be used in different operations, from cultivating to planning, mapping and soil sampling. This allows our farm work during bad weather conditions.

We protect the environment since through precision agriculture the application of pesticides and herbicides will be in fully automated and controlled. This makes farming much more efficient in expensive in protecting the environment. The collected data will be used by aircraft sprayers, enabling accurate swathing of fields without the use of human “flaggers” to guide them. Crop dusters equipped with GPS are able to fly accurate swaths over the field, applying chemicals only where needed and thereby benefiting the environment.

II. BioGas Technology

The substrate is cultivated 100% from agricultural parent plant, harvested and stored on the site of the biogas plant.

Fermentation residue

The fermentation residue is a good organic fertilizer and is bought from the parent company (residue sale). This last step closes the eco-system loop.
To operate such a biogas plant, an area of approximately 1,500 hectares of arable land is required.
To comply with crop rotation, a main plant of approximately 6,000 hectares total area is recommended. The biogas plant is the energy backbone of the farm and silo plant.

With the biogas plant the whole operation becomes self-sustaining (except for the fuel for the operating machines).

The biogas plant will allow the following:
- Purchase of the substrate from the parent company and carrying out the harvest.
- Supplying the entire operation with electrical energy, heat and gas
- Providing a high-quality bio-fertilizer with the fermentation residue

The biogas plant is the basic pillar of the ecologically-minded agricultural enterprise.
